Celebration Launch

It is an exciting time to be a part of Christian Women’s Job Corps! This year we are celebrating 20 years of service in Madison County. Together with our partners and volunteers, we have been able to make quite an impact over the last two decades:

To celebrate the continued legacy of CWJC, we have some special things happening this fall.
First, we want to share our brand new website! We worked with SweetWater Marketing to put together an updated, easy to navigate, and beautifully designed website that we hope will be a valuable resource for current and prospective students, volunteers, partnering organizations and donors. Please take a look and let us know what you think.

We are also celebrating our anniversary with a fall fundraising campaign. We are asking people to donate $20 for our 20 years of service and then challenge others to do the same. As we have seen many times in our ministry over the years, seemingly small acts of faithfulness add up to make a big impact. Please consider how you might respond to this campaign and share it with others.

This time of year also brings our annual Circles Luncheon. This important event is scheduled for November 5th, 2018. More info about Circles will be shared in an upcoming post, but you can read more about it and our speaker, Ellen Miller, on our website.

As you can see, there is a lot going on at Christian Women’s Job Corps, and you can be a part of it all, bringing hope to women in our community. In addition to the opportunities mentioned above, we have a need for specific item donations that help our programs best serve our students, as well as volunteers and mentors. Spending your time working with our students has the potential to change not only their lives for the better, but yours as well!

We at CWJC are so thankful for the support of our volunteers, donors and partner organizations over these past twenty years of ministry. As we look back with gratitude, we look forward to the next 20 years and the lives that will be impacted. It’s going to be a great anniversary year. Stay tuned!

Your gift will be used to help students in Madison County build important skills to reach their full potential.
