Clothes Closet
CJC Clothes Closet takes donations on Tuesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. No appointment necessary.
CJC operates a free clothes closet at our First Baptist Church site. Current and past students as well as any woman unable to afford career clothing are invited to “shop” for apparel and accessories as needed. The clothes are appropriate for job interviews and daily attire for an office setting.
Current Needs
Donations are limited to 50 items per donor due to the limited size of our closet.

If you are handling the estate of a deceased family member or friend, we recommend that you donate the clothing to The Neighborhood Store (benefits Second Mile Development Preschool – those unable to afford the store items can volunteer for store credit), Christmas Charities (gives clothing away), or Asbury Thrift Store if you live in Madison.
Location: We are located at First Baptist Church, Entrance #7 (this is the back of FBC facing St. Clair – enter our parking lot that is directly across the street from Huntsville Public Library). Pull your vehicle under the covered area, ring the doorbell, and a volunteer will meet you outside with a cart to receive your donation and give you a tax receipt.

Car Donations
A working automobile you are no longer using can be a lifeline to a CJC graduate without reliable transportation. To find out more about the requirements and procedure for vehicle donation, please call Nancy at (256) 428-9435 or email cjcdirector@cwjc.net.
Computer Donations
Graduates of our program are eligible to apply for a computer to assist them in applying the career and life skills they have learned. We would gratefully consider your donations of computers with an operating system of Windows 10 or later. Please contact Nancy at (256) 428-9435 or cjcdirector@cwjc.net.
Item Donations
Christian Job Corps gladly accepts items for donation that support our program and our students.

General ministry items needed:
- a roll of forever stamps
- flash drives (Students use flash drives to save their resume, cover letter, and other essential information so they can continue to update them even after finishing our classes.)
- cases of bottled water
- 1 inch Avery Binder Notebooks
- reams of 20 lb. copy paper
- gift cards to Walmart, Office Depot, Staples – Any amount is appreciated

- regular size toothpaste
