Site Coordinator (Part Time) – Position Description

The Christian Job Corps Site Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.

As a Site Coordinator you will make sure our participants have a well-executed and transformative experience so they can gain the skills they need to launch their careers or take the next step in their journey. This position is crucial to the success of the program, so we are looking for someone with exceptional leadership qualities, who is highly dependable, and enjoys working with people.

You’ll possess skills that will allow you to: manage program logistics, secure guest speakers, and work directly with teachers, volunteers and other CJC staff. Success in this role is equipping participants with a positive, relevant, informative experience that they can use to enrich their lives and to help reach their individual goals. To thrive in this role, you must have intermediate computer skills, exceptional time management & organization skills, as well as be an excellent communicator who is comfortable with public speaking in different settings. You will be innovative and have the ability to align program content to meet current community needs.

Here’s what you can expect as a Site Coordinator:

  • You’ll complete national level Christian Job Corps training
  • You’ll make sure everyone knows when/where to arrive and what to expect through logistics coordination of meeting space, participants, and guest speakers.
  • You’ll have plenty of opportunity to showcase your communication skills and represent CJC to guests, visitors, and the community in this role. You will be the person to get participants excited about being a part of the program and will often speak with others about our mission and how they can support us. You will occasionally attend networking events, fundraisers, and work to build relationships with hiring managers with multiple local organizations.
  • You are responsible for managing participant files and accurate record keeping at your assigned site. We use a mix of paper files and Google Workspace for creating and tracking documents.
  • You will support the Volunteer Coordinator and Recruitment Director to spread awareness of volunteer opportunities, recruitment needs, and help with special events.
  • You will work with the Executive Director as needed to execute any special events or projects.

· Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs as needed.
