There’s no way to sugar coat the fact that we are living in uncertain times. With an overwhelming concern for our health, in addition to the health of our neighbors, we are facing a global pandemic. As we here at CWJC do our part to flatten the curve, we are hopeful that the quarantine will be over by our Circles event on November 2nd.
This fundraiser is an incredibly important part of our ministry, as it pays for the full year of care that our women receive. So, with hope, we are looking forward and we invite you to join us!
What is Circles?
This annual luncheon is our major fundraiser each year, in which we raise awareness about our program and celebrate the incredible volunteers, students and success stories of CWJC.
We aren’t sure what this year’s Circles event will look like. As we await the state’s plan for allowing gatherings, we are painstakingly working on Plan B in case we are not able to gather together. The show will go on, but it may look quite a bit different than our previous events. This year’s message will be delivered by author, priest, and speaker Becca Stevens. Her powerful message on how love heals is one you won’t want to miss!
Becca is the founder and CEO of Thistle Farms. This organization has been around for the last 20 years and the story is incredible.
What Can I Expect?
We don’t know – like you, we are not sure what the next month’s hold. We can tell you that your safety is the most important aspect of our decision to hold the event like usual or do something a little different this year. Stay tune as we will keep you posted about our plan. We do know that we appreciate all that you do for our ladies and whether we are together or celebrating in separate locations, we are all in this together! And, we will figure out a unique way to celebrate the day.
