Each year Christian Women’s Job Corps holds its Annual Circles Luncheon to raise awareness and money for CWJC and its students. This is a major event coordinated by CWJC and its sponsors at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville.
Our 2019 Circles event will be held on Monday, November 4, at noon at the Von Braun Center North Hall. You are invited to come as early as 10:30 to shop from our vendors and view the beautiful tablescapes!
We are delighted to welcome back Liz Huntley as our featured speaker for Circles 2019!
Liz is a committed child advocate and passionate litigation attorney at Lightfoot, Franklin & White, LLC in Birmingham, Alabama. She also travels throughout the country, sharing her inspirational story of an Alabama woman who overcame nightmarish events and tremendous adversity during her childhood to become a successful attorney, motivational speaker and member of the Auburn University Board of Trustees. Born in Huntsville with the odds stacked against her, Liz could never imagine becoming the woman she is today. One life-changing moment came on her first day of first grade when her teacher spoke the emboldening words, “Elizabeth, you’re going to be the brightest student I ever have.” Another came from the message of her pastor, reminding her that God cares for the smallest birds and that as a child of God, she is far more valuable than a bird to Him.
She is the author of two books and a dedicated advocate for children who grew up in similar situations of abuse, neglect and drug abuse. Her phenomenal life story and message will inspire and encourage you.
Don’t miss hearing Liz’s powerful story. Mark your calendar for November 4, 2019!
